Aren't You Entitle To Abundance? Even in a Recession

It is the law of nature, the law of the universe that everything should be in abundance.

So if everything on this earth is in such abundance. If everything on earth is meant to grow and expand and is entitled by the law of the universe to do so. Why are so many people not obtaining an abundant life?

If life is in abundance and if everything that sustains life is in abundance, does that not mean you are entitled to some of it?

The bible states:3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
John 10:10 where Jesus said "I am come that you might have and enjoy life, in abundance, to the full, until it overflows. We can then use the overflow to be a blessing in someone else's life!

We have mistakenly limited prosperity to just wealth. But it is much more than just having enough money to meet all of your needs. It's a lifestyle that includes divine health, peace, joy, and happiness.

Being prosperous in one area of your life can be very unimportant, for example, if you were to have all the money in the world, but, no happiness, or all the fame in the world, but, no love, or you were surrounded by tons of people, but, you still felt a since of loneliness, that would not be true prosperity. Prosperity is more than just wealth. It's a lifestyle that includes divine health, peace, joy, protection, provision and happiness. The term shalom is used throughout the Bible and means nothing missing, nothing broken. It is complete wholeness for your spirit, soul and body.

So, dear friends, I submit that you are indeed entitled to that abundance, so trust that there is a higher power at work here than yourselves, and sometimes we have to lean not unto our own understandings. But, you must apply "faith", which requires you to see things, not the way they are, but, the way they will be. Every idea, every concept, every brilliant invention, begins in the mind, and if you change the way you think and believe you will also change your outcome.

I believe that everything has a biblical foundation, there is no new thing under the sun. So, with that said, there obviously is a solution to every problem. We are accustomed to functioning under the world's system. Therefore, the next step is to renew our minds so that we think, believe, speak and act based on God's system.

So, it is imperative that you begin to change the way you think. The bible tells us: Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” God longs for us to think right. If we think right; we live right! Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he/she thinketh in his/her heart, so is he/she. . . .” Having discussed all these biblical principles about living in abundance, let's talk about it in a more practical way.

So, let's take a look at a "law of nature" we need to put into effect in order to change our outcome. One very important one I believe is the "law of reciprocity". The law of reciprocity can basically be summed up by stating the golden rule: do unto others as you would have others do unto you. However, it goes one step further then this. The law states that whatever you do will be returned back to you. In other words, if you want to create success for yourself, help someone else become successful. It is an unspoken law of the universe that whatever, you put out, will come back to you. So, start putting some positive energy out there. Reciprocity is a basis of trust and a basis for legitimate power. The principle is that others will reciprocate in kind based upon the way you treat them. The world gives you what you give to the world.

Business people, Salespeople, Copywriters, Marketers of every kind use this immutable natural law to their advantage to make more sales. That's why people in these professions give you free samples. That's why door-to-door salespeople offer you free products. That's why charities give out free gifts. They understand the bible verse, Psalms 112:5, "A good man/woman sheweth favour, and lendeth...."

People understand this law on a faith-based level. They were taught and believe that you should "plant a seed." Their faith has taught them that giving is somehow a key to carrying out Gods instructions to them. When we give because of faith, we do receive more! We don't have to understand it, for it to work. That's why it's called faith. Reciprocity can be both positive and negative and if you harm others, they may seek revenge or retribution. People want to make things even in relationships, doing good for those who have treated them well. (People very willingly, share experiences about great bargains and sales and on that same token). They may even want to do harm to those who have harmed them.(Giving bad, but truthful, review of their treatment, etc.)

So, a quick review, you need a renewed mind, the law of reciprocity and diligance(Proverbs 10:4, "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of diligance maketh rich."). So, it will take some hard work and perseverance on your part.

But, with the "Law of Nature" on your side, you cannot lose. So, start small, with maybe just a pleasant encounter with someone today, and build from there.

Be Blessed,
