Why this Baked Spaghetti is the New Baked Spaghetti

Baked Spaghetti

Inspiration for a dish can come from just about anywhere these days, especially since access to everything in the world is right at our fingertips. But, my inspiration for having baked spaghetti, is rooted in inexpensive, easy-to-prepare and very tasty childhood meals that can be considered comfort food. And any of you that have been reading my blog, know by now, that I'm all about simplifying the process of preparing anything and that's exactly why this Baked Spaghetti is the New Baked Spaghetti. Of course if you have time to spare on your hands, you can go ahead and make your own mozzarella sauce and spaghetti sauce, but, I'm sure I'm going to save you at least 30 minutes to 1 hour or more. So, let's not waste anymore time, I believe I can get this delicious meal done for you in just about 5 easy steps. 


1 (26 oz) Jar of your favorite Spaghetti Sauce
1 (16 oz) Jar Garlic Alfredo Sauce
1lb. Spaghetti Noodles
1 Pound of ground beef
2 Cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup milk (2% or whole)
1 teaspon Italian seasoning
Season to taste


Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Drain noodles very well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, combine your Mozzarella Sauce, 2 cups of Mozzarella cheese, Milk, Italian Seasoning. Stir well to combine.

Add this to Cooked and Drained spaghetti and Toss to coat completely.

Pour the Entire Combined Cheese mix and Spaghetti into a 9x13 baking dish.

Brown your ground beef in medium sauce pan. Once beef is browned and crumbled, be sure to drain well to remove excess grease. Over low heat add spaghetti sauce and mix.

Pour your ground beef mixture over your spaghetti and cheese mixture. Sprinkle the top with extra mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes.

Allow mixture to cool, so that you’ll be able to slice it, without it being runny.

Tips: If you like your spaghetti pretty saucy, you may want to purchase another jar of sauce. Also, if you want cheesy, cheesy bake, you may want to sprinkle cheese between the two layers.
